Konstantin Khachikyan graduated Moscow Conservatory College in 2014. From 2014-2019 he studied at Moscow Tchaikovsky conservatory and was awarded “top graduate of piano faculty in 2019”. Now he continues studying in post-graduate program with Professor Andre Pisarev and professor Nikolay Lugansky. He frequently plays in the most prestigious venues of Russia, also he performed in Germany, France, Austria, Italy, Japan, Australia etc. Konstantin collaborates with the leading orchestras and outstanding conductors such as V. Fedoseev, T. Currentzis, D. Raiskin, M. Olsop, V. Uryupin, F. Korobov and others. Konstantin’s debut album "Rachmaninoff. Complete preludes" in collaboration with the "Orpheus classical" music label is expected to be released in 2024.
Due to health reasons the candidates Shotaro Nishimura and Zixi Chen could not participate in the GPP 2022. They received the possibility to participate in this edition.
