Before his debut at London’s Royal Albert Hall in 2023, Tristan Paradee attained a gold medal at the 2022 Odyssiad International Piano Competition and a Gold medal at the London Virtuoso Piano Competition as well as prizes at the Gina Bachauer Young Artists Piano Competition, Hilton Head Piano Competition, Hastings Competition and the Los Angeles International Liszt Competition. Paradee earned a Bachelor of Music degree in 2023 at the University of Indiana’s Jacobs School of Music, studying under concert pianist Roberto Plano with a full scholarship. He is currently continuing his studies in Paris at the École Normale de Musique de Paris de Alfred Corto, under the direction of Rena Shereshevskaya.
Due to health reasons the candidates Shotaro Nishimura and Zixi Chen could not participate in the GPP 2022. They received the possibility to participate in this edition.
