Biography

Josef Edoardo Mossali has won several competitions, including the "J.S. Bach" in Sestri Levante; "Città di Riccione"; the "Città di Giussano"; the "Città di Piove di Sacco"; the 17th "Marco Bramanti" Competition in Forte dei Marmi; "Lombardia è musica"; the 15th edition of the National Prize of the Arts. He won the Third Prize at the Premio Venezia 2021 and the Second Prize at the Premio Thalberg 2023. He has performed for the Società dei concerti di Milano, for the Amici della musica di Firenze, for the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia, for the Camerata Ducale di Vercelli, for the Fondazione Riccitelli di Teramo, for the GIA association in Brescia, for Rai Radio 3 and Rai 1, for the Festival Pianistico di Brescia e Bergamo, and for the Virtuosi Italiani. In April 2024, his CD was released by the Italian magazine Suonare News.

 

Due to health reasons the candidates Shotaro Nishimura and Zixi Chen could not participate in the GPP 2022. They received the possibility to participate in this edition.
