Biography

Currently studying at the Royal Academy of Music, Sherri Lun is generously supported by the Keyboard Charitable Trust, KNS Classical, Lang Lang International Music Foundation, and Hong Kong Scholarship for Excellence Scheme. Since her concerto debut at Ravinia Festival, she has appeared in venues such as Millennium Park Chicago, Fondation Louis Vuitton Paris, and Wigmore Hall London, collaborating with ensembles including the Salzburg Chamber Soloists, Hong Kong Youth Orchestra, and Kölner Kammerorchester. Sherri is also a prize-winner in the Robert Schumann Competition Düsseldorf, Zhuhai Mozart, ASEAN Chopin, and Steinway & Sons Youth Piano Competition. Her performance has been broadcasted by the Radio Television Hong Kong. In 2023, she released her debut album with KNS Classical.

 

Due to health reasons the candidates Shotaro Nishimura and Zixi Chen could not participate in the GPP 2022. They received the possibility to participate in this edition.
